Statement

Nice to meet you, this is Aiko Uragami. I use my own method called MojiBa®︎ (Moji Base art®︎) to express pictures using only letters. The characters are mainly animals. In the face of various problems on the earth, for the children of the future and the earth, through art The result of thinking about what I could do was to "draw the voices of animals on letters". Even if the picture looks like an ordinary painting from a distance, when you get closer, it is all made of letters, and sometimes it contains messages from animals that appeal to environmental problems and world peace, so I want you to feel various things from a distance. And in this web solo exhibition "EMojiBa", he also exhibits paintings drawn with acrylic paints. We hope you enjoy Aiko Uragami's "world of letters" and "world of pictures" two axes.
