What is the Buyback Guarantee Service?

This is a unique service provided by Nihonbashi Art.jp, where artworks listed with a buyback guarantee will be repurchased at a price of at least 50% of the original purchase price within two years after purchase.

Buyback Conditions

  • The artwork must come with a buyback guarantee.
  • It must be within two years from the date of purchase.

When it is not covered by the warranty

  • If the artwork has significant deterioration, damage, or staining that greatly reduces its value.
  • If there has been a significant market price drop since the time of purchase.
  • If the person requesting the buyback is not the original purchaser.

2. Consideration

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. You may also visit the gallery in person to inspect the artwork.

3. Payment and Document Submission

After confirming your purchase, we require payment and the submission of identity verification documents.

a. Payment

You can pay via PayPal (credit card payment) or bank transfer. Please note that bank transfers must be made in a single payment.

b. Submission of Identity Verification Documents

To complete your purchase, please submit one of the following identity verification documents:
  1. A valid driver’s license
  2. A valid passport
  3. A health insurance card and a utility bill receipt
※ Please submit the documents in image format (jpg, gif, png, pdf, etc.).

4. Shipping

Once payment is confirmed, we will ship the artwork.

Q&A

As a general rule, the buyback price will be between 50% and 100% of the original purchase price. However, deterioration, damage, or market fluctuations may affect the final buyback price. Please understand this in advance.
Artworks labeled with "Buyback Guarantee" are eligible.
You can pay via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. Please note that bank transfers must be made in a single payment.
