Shigeyoshi Otsuka Exhibition -Plane and Three-Dimensional-

This is the first solo exhibition centered on paintings by Shigeyoshi Otsuka, who studied Japan painting, discovered terracotta sculpture in Italy and is currently active as a ceramist. -The earth is now standing at a crossroads where we should return to the origin and open up the future. Please take a look at the paintings and three-dimensional sculptures made of soil by Otsuka, who says that he should return to the origin and open up the future, using pigments and other materials in Japan paintings with prayers for the future.

大塚 茂吉 Mokichi Otsuka  
Born in Tokyo in 1956. The three-dimensional sculptures in the shape of people and cats are inlaid with white dots to express prayers and wishes. Biography Graduated from the Department of Japan Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, and completed the same graduate school. Graduated from the National School of Ceramics of G. Barraldini (Italy). He has held solo exhibitions in various cities in Italy, Paris, New York, and other parts of Japan.
