I studied graphic design at university and graduate school, and have been involved in design for a long time since then, but since I discovered the technique of woodblock prints in 2017, I have spent more time facing woodblocks than on computer screens. I spend a lot of time in the forest and the sea, and I carve the scenery I want to keep in the memories I encounter in nature on the cross-sections of the tsuge and camellia. I hope to carve a landscape that allows the viewer's emotions to enter.
