Artist and calligrapher. Completed the master's program at Kyoto University of the Arts and obtained the highest rank of 8th dan from the Japan Calligraphy Education Foundation. Based on the concept of the physicality of the hand-brushed characters, he creates works using a wide range of expression methods, including installations and videos. Lives in Kyoto.
