Harumi Inao Web Solo Exhibition Touching the Heartstrings

Touching things that happen around you, such as flowers blooming, the moon rising, changing seasons, and things that have life. Everyone can be shaken by such a situation. When I touch my heartstrings, I want to express what I feel by accepting it as it is without being strange. That is the origin of my work. The theme of this solo exhibition is what kind of research is played when my act of drawing is moved by my heart and the heartstrings of the viewer in my modest daily activities. I want to be by your side and sometimes deliver healing and sometimes crush through your work.
Harumi InaoOrdinary scenes and things in everyday life can resonate with you at a sudden moment. I want to depict what resonates with it. The paint in Japan painting is a powder such as minerals. I mix the powder with glue myself to make paint. The color is not the color that the plate has formed, and its effect is not known until it dries. The reason why I use Japan painting as a way of expression is because the space between the object I want to paint, the screen, and myself creates a comfortable rhythm in my work. I started working as an artist in 2022, but before that, I had been teaching art to students as an art teacher for a long time. I hope that my work will be a peace of mind for someone.
