Yuriko Nishikawa Exhibition "Somewhere Today"

"An innocent scenery hidden in daily life." I'm sure this daily life continues somewhere today. This exhibition depicts still lifes such as bottles and cans around us, as well as everyday scenes. Artist Yuriko Nishikawa paints with motifs of things around her as one clue to confronting life and the world and the earth behind it. By connecting many fragmentary images in our daily lives with the material of paint on the small screen of painting, we capture "the feeling of having seen it somewhere."

As a clue to facing life and the world and the earth behind it, I paint with the motif of the objects around me. I would be happy if the many fragmentary images in everyday life can be captured by the material of paint on the small screen of painting, so that people can capture the "feeling of having seen it somewhere".
