■MIYAMORI Keiko (b.1964) Born in Kanagawa. Graduated from the Graduate School of Arts, University of Tsukuba, majoring in Japan Painting. Received the Miki Tamon Award (1994) and enrolled in the Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States under the Agency for Cultural Affairs' Emerging Artist Study Abroad Program (1998). He has been working in Philadelphia since 2000 and in New York since 2011. The 6th Kashiwa City Cultural Forum 104 Grand Prize Exhibition TAMON Award - Tani Shin no Eye Grand Prize (1995), The 16th Imadate Contemporary Art Paper Exhibition Grand Prize (1997), Leiway Foundation Window of Opportunity Award (2003), The Meijer Sculpture Competition Grand Prize 2004), Leeway Foundation Transformation Award (2008), Center for Future Visual Artist Travel Grant (2009), The Independence Foundation Fellowships in the Arts (2010), Asahi Shimbun Cultural Foundation Grant (2018). His major exhibitions include group Japan exhibitions such as VOCAʼ97 "Perspectives of Contemporary Art: Artists of a New Plane" (Ueno Royal Museum of Art, Tokyo, 1997), "Art Expanding ʼ97" (Tsukuba Museum of Art, Ibaraki, 1997), and "Distribution and the Earth" (Kasumi Tsukuba Center, Ibaraki, 1998). He has participated in many group exhibitions in Korea and other countries.
