Professor Katsuaki Sato is a scientist emeritus professor at the University of Agriculture and Technology, but he is a painter who serves as a director of the public organization Nippu Exhibition. This time, the teacher received the Navy Ribbon Medal. I heard that the reason for this is the donation of many paintings to the University of Agriculture and Technology.
To commemorate this award, this solo exhibition will feature oil and watercolor paintings focusing on the cityscape of Prague. We ask that you come to the gallery to congratulate Mr. Sato on his wonderful award and to appreciate the works that are born from the work of the mature mind. (Kayoko Sano)
He is a researcher of applied physics and a unique painter who continues to work tirelessly with a focus on the Nippon exhibition. He sketches the cityscapes of various parts of the world he visited at international conferences, and depicts the scenery vividly with a touch of thick paint.
