I am approaching the second half of my life. My relationship with Japan painting will also be longer. As a painter, I have made many attempts and adventurous paintings, so I was conscious of easy-to-understand Japan paintings in this solo exhibition. Japan-style art materials are very difficult to handle, and it seems simple to depict the beauty of the natural world realistically, but it is not. The simpler it is, the more difficult it is, and I think my expression is to convey the beauty of rock paint to everyone as it is. It is an honor if what I create through my eyes and hands is a picture that sticks in my heart and makes me want to see it again. ●Rei MatsuzawaBy verbalizing the production process, we can finish the production efficiently without hesitation from start to finish. Japan painting is one of the most difficult paintings, and since I am working and presenting it in France, I will explain the general flow in French, and even though I can't do it in Japanese, for some reason I chose France and only conveyed the process of Japan painting in French full of accent language. I think that the spirituality of painting and what it wants to convey must be conveyed to French people with a high sense of beauty. I also did oil painting, but perhaps because I had learned calligraphy when I was young, I like the contact between paper and ink, the soft feel of water, and the world of free colors, which is what I like about Japan painting.
