YOKO
At the beginning of the activity, I was pushed by someone
"I've loved drawing since I was a child, but as I grow up, I don't draw much. At that time, I was given a certain opportunity. I liked the transmission of my favorite Mocchi (Ayakade Mochizuki) and I was watching it often, but one day, "Let's put ourselves out there and do what we are good at and what we like without difficulty!" I was inspired by the content of trying to remember my childhood likes and strengths, and I started painting, which is one of my favorite things."
YOKO talked about the time when he was encouraged by the message of his favorite Mocchi (Ayakade Mochizuki), who is active as an influencer and has published a book, with a very sparkling smile. YOKO, who started his career as a painter from an episode that made him feel positive and cheerful, is active as an "ARTIST who spreads HAPPY". "I paint when I am in a happy mood, and I think that the person who is watching will also convey happiness. Sometimes I feel depressed, but when I'm in the mood, I don't feel like drawing. I think that my feelings will also be taken over by my work, so when I am happy, I cherish my own energy and draw. I put acrylic paint on the canvas and draw it as I want with the inspiration of the time."
YOKO's works are very bright and have clear colors. Each bright color is clearly developed without mixing, raising the viewer's mood and maintaining an exquisite salt plum that never repels them. Is this the power of YOKO's inspiration and happiness? We asked YOKO about the motifs "peacock" and "flower" that are particularly important in the work, and his favorite color, red. Especially about your favorite works
"'Ryujin of Happiness' is a particularly impressive work. The colorful colors of the dragon god represent brightness, while the lower part represents the natural world with flowers, trees, plants, wind and water, and the orange in the center with sun-like light. I drew it with all my soul with the feeling that I became a dragon god and sprinkled happiness and emitted energy. When I consulted with Mr. White Dragon of Kifune Shrine about what to draw, would you like to draw a dragon god? I received advice. I have a mysterious connection with this person that we were a couple in my previous life, and I also drew a work called "White Dragon" that I was able to model. I drew it with the image of wrapping around everyone and protecting them."
