The right to live like a human being

Even I, who am not good at living, have the right to live. Even people who look energetic, cheerful, and well-being from the sidelines have one or two worries in their hearts. It is natural that there are times when things don't go well. It is normal for human beings to have an inferiority complex about something. I love that kind of human part, and I think that's what makes me human. I was tired of looking only at the good things about people, such as people who live well and live hard and succeed. I think this work is an exhibition of by-products that people like me who have an inferiority complex and feel disgusted with something should be born in order to accept and love themselves as they are. Of course, there are two-dimensional works, but following the "Religious Paintings for Myself: Stained Glass Series" that worshipped oneself and humans, I mainly created two series: the "BDSM Series" that exploded disgust and frustration. Both are attempts that started in 2023, so this series will be developed in the future. I think the conflict and anguish of becoming an adult are reflected in the work. ●Tomori NagataIn the fall of my second year of high school, I was fascinated by the texture and depth of expression of the oil paintings I painted for the first time, and decided to go straight to art school, and although I was immature in both technical and thought-expressing aspects, I entered university and have been there ever since. The motif deals with the smug world of one's own dreams and reality, private life, inner world and the outside world. I think some people sympathize with me, some expand their own interpretations, and some people feel opposed and uncomfortable. All the emotions I receive from my work are the precious sensibilities of each individual. I would like to create works that include communication that can discover and absorb them.
