【Japan Art.jp Project】Makoto Okamoto Solo Exhibition - Bouquet of memories

Japan will be jointly organized with Art.jp Ohashi and Ginza Gallery Azuma to hold "Makoto Okamoto Solo Exhibition - Bouquet of memories".

This year, due to the unexpected global spread of COVID-19 since spring, it has become a completely extraordinary world, and I was about to give up on holding a solo exhibition, but I was able to hold it thanks to the call of Art.jp Japan Tsuhashi and Gallery Azuma. At one point, every day was in a state of strong tension. Even now, we cannot allow predictions. Still, in the days of seclusion, the fountain of imagination overflows, and I wander in search of beautiful aspects in a world that seems different from before. Because we can't meet each other, because we can't see it, the world of fantasy expands and accumulates as memories deep in the brain. I would be happy if I could deliver the works I drew as a bouquet in the days of being in a cage.

Painter. After graduating from Rikkyo University, he went to the Setsu Mode Seminar. In Japan, he has had many solo and group exhibitions in Shinjuku, Nakameguro, Osaka, and Nagano, mainly in Ginza and Harajuku. Many overseas exhibitions in Korea, NY, LA, Italy, etc. Participated in the 2019 Taiwan Kaohsiung Art Fair. Ueno Royal Museum of Art "The 27th Exhibition of Painting Nature in Japan" Selected for the 2018 Associate Member of the Association of Contemporary Artists "74th Current Exhibition".
