「小川YUKA展 子どもと夢とおはなしと」

私の創作活動は、社会福祉の現場で培った「人の心に寄り添う」という姿勢を根底に置いています。花園大学で社会福祉を学び、障害者支援や教育現場での経験を重ねる中で、アートが持つ癒しの力に深く感銘を受け、臨床美術士の資格を取得いたしました。

現在は認知症の高齢者の方々と共に、絵やオブジェなどの創作活動を通して脳の活性化を図り、心の解放を促す取り組みを行っています。また、アートスタジオ「アトリエマル」では、子供たちや障害のある方々、ひきこもりを経験した若者との交流を大切にし、タッチフォーヘルスの技法も活用しながら、心身を整えた状態での創作活動を支援しています。

京都芸術大学で学んだ日本画は、岩絵具や膠といった自然素材の温かみが、現代を生きるすべての人の心に響くものと確信しています。広島で生まれ育った平和への祈りと、滋賀の豊かな自然に囲まれた日々の中で、伝統技法に現代的な感性を込め、見る人の心に優しく寄り添い、生きる喜びを与える作品を生み出していきたいと願っています。

My creative work is fundamentally rooted in the philosophy of "touching people's hearts with compassion," which I developed through my experience in social welfare. While studying social welfare at Hanazono University and gaining experience in disability support and education, I was deeply moved by the healing power of art and obtained my certification as a Clinical Art Therapist.

Currently, I work with elderly people with dementia, facilitating creative activities such as painting and object-making to promote brain activation and emotional release. At the art studio "Atelier Maru," I value connections with children, people with disabilities, and young people who have experienced social withdrawal, supporting their creative activities by incorporating Touch for Health techniques to help them achieve physical and mental balance.

I believe that Japanese painting, which I studied at Kyoto University of the Arts, with its warmth of natural materials such as mineral pigments and animal glue, resonates deeply with the hearts of all people living in the modern world. Born and raised in Hiroshima, with prayers for peace, and surrounded by the rich nature of Shiga in my daily life, I aspire to create works that blend traditional techniques with contemporary sensibilities, gently touching the hearts of viewers and bringing them joy in life.
