Course Introduction
**Carving Art Class Yoshirin** is an art atelier that values the joy of making and the joy of expression.
Having been familiar with craftsmanship since childhood, in 2019 I studied short-term at Malisa Language & Culture School in Bangkok, Thailand, where I learned authentic carving techniques. Building on that experience, we open classes where we teach creating works incorporating a variety of techniques, including carving with soap, fruits, and vegetables, as well as dimple art and mixed media art.
Experience and age do not matter when it comes to art. From beginners to experienced participants, we carefully guide each person so they can enjoy the time spent creating, valuing each individual's pace and sensibility. For me, sharing the joy and sense of accomplishment when a work is completed, and the excitement of "I did it too," is the greatest joy for me.
We are also actively involved in the creation of mixed media art and exhibitions both domestically and internationally, pursuing free expression beyond genre constraints. We also focus on creative activities linked to the SDGs, such as environmentally conscious dimple art, aiming to create works that connect people, society, and the future through art.
There is no right answer in the work. We want to be a place where each person's feelings and sensibilities are cherished, and where their unique expression naturally emerges.
Going forward, through various forms of art, including carving, we will continue to bring the joy and inspiration of creation to many people, expanding creative spaces that nurture smiles and rich hearts.
