After graduating from a university in Japan, he got a job at C Watch Company. I had something to think about, and I studied abroad at an art school in the United States. Experienced and graduated from poor students studying art. Worked in the production department of ABC Television in Manhattan. After that, he temporarily returned to Japan and became the art director of JIMA Dentsu Production Bureau. However, the foundation that led me to the path of art, the "small grassland surrounded by birch forests, the mountain hut that created my hometown of the heart" during my university days, led me to start again as a freelance photographer, writer, and graphic designer... Through various twists and turns in life, I am currently an OLD BOY who has lived in Colorado for over 40 years. This journey greatly changed the idea of art supremacy in the young era. I think, "Art is a medium where people can laugh, talk, share happiness, soothe pain and sadness, reach out, and contribute to society..." Art is something that can be enjoyed comfortably, close to you, and make people happy even for a moment..., that's where there is value... I think.
Concept text: I think art is a means of expressing "the longing, screaming, and groaning of the soul...". The sensibilities of each artist invite the expression and creation of "the longing, crying, and groaning of the soul...". Many artists depict the beauty of nature, the awakening freshness of spring and early summer, and the beauty of flowers as a longing for the freedom to free oneself. Recently, I was also looking at the beautiful paintings of such artists. And I thought painfully, "I wish I could draw a picture like that." In the past, my life was inextricably linked to nature, the outdoors, and the world of travel.
The beauty of flowers has always been familiar to us in such a relationship, and the splendor of flowers, dialogue with flowers, philosophical, literary, and psychological significance, influence on sensibilities, flowers and culture, and flower language have always appealed to the heart.
What about Japan culture and the Japan people's sense of beauty in art? This is cultivated in the delicate nature of this country, which is one of the most beautiful in the world. Japan's nature, the four seasons, are so beautiful and delicate. I have traveled to various countries, unexplored places, and frontiers around the world, so I am certain. What we notice when we look at Japan today is that our delicate culture and sense of beauty are in danger due to the trend of materialism and commercialism. The family system, which was the foundation of Japan culture, has collapsed, and the disconnect between generations has only deepened. I am now aware of the importance and preciousness of the role of connecting generational disconnects. For an artist, "Age is just a number!" It is. "Be creative... that should be the only way to stay being young" is my motto.
Always with the sensibility of the breath of young minds, we will interact and dialogue with various people who love art, and based on the ideas they come up with, we will encourage the young and senior generations to actively participate in the community, deepen mutual understanding, and bridge the gap. When I think about its social and cultural significance, the fact that it is a medium that can make people happy and contribute to society gives me positive energy and is a major motivator for moving me into the future.
