He began learning calligraphy at the age of 6, and while learning the basics of classical calligraphy under his teacher, he learned the fun of creating. In 2009, he launched a calligraphy class to teach not only beautiful writing and copying, but also the joy of free expression.
On the other hand, he is active not only in the classroom, but also in various fields such as calligraphy performances, slogan writing for professional soccer teams, art cooperation for commercials, and catalog inscriptions.
In order to "spread the fun of calligraphy as a means of self-expression and art globally," he continues to transmit calligraphy in a variety of ways, both domestically and internationally, such as solo exhibitions at Western-style museums, participation in embassy events, workshops in English, and exhibitions at overseas exhibitions.

In March 2025, he held his first solo exhibition since his two-person exhibition with his sister in 2003. From here, I decided to focus on my production activities and named it "○".

Since calligraphy works use letters, the meaning of the letters themselves can help the viewer's interpretation, or conversely, hinder them. I am constantly pursuing how far I can express something beyond the meaning of the word by cutting the space with a brush and changing the thickness of the ink and the thickness of the lines.
