[Artist Profile]

The niche cuteness embodied in the motif. Underlying it all are cynical perspectives, spiritual presences, and tiny poisons and intelligence. These diverse essences are scattered onto the canvas with a heart-pounding "excitement."

The world of my paintings deeply belongs to the genre known as "Pop Surrealism," a major trend in contemporary art, also known as "Lowbrow art." This is an art trend that began in Los Angeles, USA in the late 1970s, and was born as an antithesis to 'traditional, rigid art.' This cutting-edge style of expression infuses adult philosophy, street vibes, and mysterious messages within the friendly and cute characters reminiscent of anime and picture books.

The author holds a priestly (Shinto priest) qualification and has continued studying the spiritual world and spiritual essence for many years. He also values a sincere attitude of inquiry, as if he is still "in the middle of learning in life." Rather than prominently emphasizing any particular religious view, he quietly embraces the natural view that "all things dwell with gods and life" that have existed in Japan since ancient times, as well as respect for the invisible great being, as a unique philosophy (spiritual intelligence) deep within his works.

In his fine art creations, acrylic paints are his main focus, and while following the context of Pop Surrealism, he skillfully incorporates oil painting techniques to express a profound worldview. On the other hand, in illustration work, I also make full use of digital tools to broaden my range of expression.

So that everyone's "inner child" (inner child) can be gently tickled— With such wishes in mind, I hold the brush in my heart, holding the quiet and sincere prayers born from a solid background and sincere daily learning, as if dedicating myself to a sacred realm. Please take a look at the new horizons of Japan's "cute culture."

In recent years, he has also focused on advanced expressive activities based on his own art museum world (art448museum), which he built within the virtual space "VRChat." We regularly hold "On-site Tours" where we interact in real time with fans from around the world, pioneering new possibilities for art.
