Idoia Izumi is an artist/illustrator from the French Basque Country based in Tokyo and Paris. He studied architecture and lyric arts (vocal music) and created works using a variety of techniques, from watercolor to oil, clay, and textiles.
With over 20 years of experience in fashion, textiles, and publishing, he has collaborated with renowned brands such as Givenchy, Balenciaga, and Nina Ricci, as well as artist Beyoncé.
From murals to music videos, her field of work is wide-ranging, and she regularly presents her work across Europe and Asia. Inspired by dreams, femininity, physical and mental well-being, and nature, Izumi blends figuration and abstraction to create a diverse range of expressions, including drawings, paintings, sculptures, and masks.
Her work bridges sensory experiences with scientific exploration. Inspired by fields such as astrophysics, biology, and deep-sea research, the film captures the poetic vibrations of nature's mysteries and paints a world where art and science intersect.
We also choose materials that are as sustainable and low as possible, putting an ecological perspective at the heart of our creative process.
