Born in Shiga Prefecture. After majoring in art education at the Faculty of Education at Shiga University, he completed a master's degree at the University of Oregon Graduate School. Currently, based in Kyoto Prefecture, he is involved in the education of Visual Arts and is working on the production of abstract paintings rooted in traditional Japan culture.
In recent years, he has focused on the form of "hanging scrolls", expressing the unique sensibilities and aesthetics of Japan, such as the changing seasons and festivals, through abstract colors and shapes. He tries to depict not only the visible landscape, but also the air, memories, scents, and signs that drift there.
