I have been familiar with sumi since I was a child and have cherished the world of sensations.
Under the theme of "A Journey to Return to My Original Self," this exhibition expresses the inspiration that comes from the inner universe in ink. In creating the work, I was particular about the shades and margins of the ink, and each line and shape reflected the state of mind. I think that ink is a language of emotion for me and a clue to face myself.
Through my work, I hope to create a quiet expanse in my heart and deliver time to return to my original self.
