When I was 2 or 3 years old, it was very difficult for me to make a voice, and I took it for granted that I would use painting and music as tools for expression. And since I was a teenager, I have been asking questions such as "What is love?" and "What is peace?" Furthermore, I have been painting "innocent paintings" while pursuing and disseminating them as if they were a sense of mission.
And one day as the years passed, an answer was born, and those themes came to an end.
Immediately after, he encountered "mythology" and learned about the roots of life and the wisdom that has been passed down from generation to generation in Japan (that is, thousands of years. How ten thousand years? Originally from the universe and consciousness?!。。 The desire to leave it in the work so that it can be passed on to the next generation became the theme of the second half of my life. Ancient paintings were depicted on the "walls" of caves and temples, and it is said that they were important rituals and prayers in daily life, depicting "a scene cut out of a part of the story", such as the success of a hunt, the harvest of crops, and the state of rituals. I myself have created many works with such thoughts and themes.
There is always a memory and a sense of mission in painting, and I research to use it and think about the subject matter 24 hours a day.
Old traditions that have been born and left behind since ancient times.
Every moment, something new is born.
At first glance, it is this repetition, diversity, death, and rebirth that have created the universe and human activities one after another.
I think that the fact that I use ancient stone and plant art materials together with modern acrylic art materials and electronic devices, and that I draw carefully and improvise, contains the harmony and prayer of ancient and modern East and West, and I think that is my fundamental love for such things.
And what I value most is "innocent painting" and "innocent way of life"
I think these are the most interesting and valuable things that have a positive impact on each other and enrich our lives and minds, so I would like to continue to create many works as my soul wants.
