In the recent corona disaster, I was reminded once again of how small the existence of "humans" is.
Encounters with new viruses, natural disasters that have occurred so far, and man-made disasters such as nuclear power plant accidents.
Whenever this happens, humans are not special beings, but just one of the various creatures that live on this wide earth
I reaffirm the fact that Japan people have valued such aministic. Japan people have known since ancient times that there is a world of "bird and beast caricatures".
Now that people around the world are facing the common problem of the coronavirus, I created this group of works with the desire to look at other animals that live on the earth together.
The animals are in a sumo wrestling position. Sumo wrestling was a sacred act performed between gods in ancient times. The animals became sumo wrestlers and were drawn so that each of them could take a sumo wrestler.
I pray to each wrestler. God, animals, and people should prosper.

Around 2015, I started painting using acrylic paints on my own. At that time, he mainly produced abstract paintings rooted in his own emotions, and in 2016 he held his first exhibition of his works with a friend.
He began creating figurative works around 2018, and he paints many works with plant motifs. Many works with plant motifs consist of simple lines or colors, and are not elaborately depicted. This is because the purpose is not to depict the motif itself, but to reveal the relationship between the subject being painted and the artist. The objective facts of the motif are reconstructed in the production of the work, and in most cases they do not remain in their original form. However, I think that from the motifs that have been stripped down from various elements, we can deeply feel the universal power and beauty of life.
In addition, from 2018, in parallel with canvas, we gradually began to incorporate wood panels that are more absorbent and have no irregularities.
In 2019, I started drawing portraits with the desire to delve deeper into the beauty and darkness of people. Many works emphasize shading and create a contrast between light and dark, expressing the beauty and darkness of a person. Both people and plants are beautiful, but their beauty alone cannot make them exist. I would like to express such things in the future.
