I want to be able to draw this rain beautifully someday.
I still remember thinking that way when I was a child, looking at the rain from the window.
Looking back, that may have been the beginning of my desire for expression.
My mother was an oil painter. Therefore, I naturally began to draw from an early age.
My favorite painter as a child was Leonardo da Vinci, just like my mother.
Therefore, in the past, I liked to paint realistic paintings.
At that time, the more I drew, the more I drew my own picture. Being praised by my family and people around me was one of the charms of drawing for me.

Also, my family was not wealthy in Japan, so when I was a child, I often put up with what I wanted.
I was greedy.
But the inside of the picture was different. If you draw what you want, you can get it.
Also, even if it does not actually exist in the world, you can get it in the picture.
It's like giving birth to something out of nothing...
Through art, I gradually began to be taken into unknown worlds.
But what we can imagine is that maybe it exists somewhere in this world, somewhere in history.
Maybe it's in the afterlife.
In this way, I think about all things in the world from art, and I feel a sense of awe at the feeling that I am certainly connected to something.

Also, in the summer when I was 10 years old, I came across a certain painting.
The painting seemed to mean resurrection.
I felt like a ray of light emerging from the darkness.
And then my concept became like that.
There is always a shadow lurking somewhere, and there is a scene of breaking away from it.
Maybe it's because I was originally a person who tended to focus on the negative aspects of things. In the past, you may even have suffered from depression or obsessive-compulsive disorder.
However, I believe that it is because people have tasted the bottom that they can be close to someone and be someone else's strength.
And I want to live strongly. Even if it is presumptuous, he wants to express it in a way that breaks the shackles of people's suffering and leads someone to a high place.

And now I am creating works like patterns.
It is a pattern that seems to exist somewhere in nature.
The reason why I draw such works is that
Nature keeps the time accurately when people are sick and when they are not sick.
Whether you look at the universe or small life, there is a calculated precision.
At first glance, it looks like nonsense, but it is calculated to harmonize with the whole.
And everything is alive and well in the world.
We humans are also part of such a world. Humans are a small universe.
Therefore, I think we can learn many things from nature.
I think you can feel love and beauty from nature.
