A single piece of "story art" that accompanies your life
Nice to meet you.
I am ERI, a botany painting artist.
The art I create is,
It's not just about changing the color of the leaves.
That is,
"A piece that quietly lights up your heart."
It is a "time like prayer" to create new things.
The moment you touch it,
It felt as if something was unraveling deep in my chest.
The moment I looked at it,
It reminds me of deep breathing.
And,
It makes you want to think of someone special.
We wanted to deliver such art,
I chose this path.
Why I paint with "leaves"
Lotus leaves, monstera. Indian linden tree, rubber tree leaves.
The leaf veins are engraved as proof that nature has come alive.
Each and every one of them,
Every life carries a story of 'living with all our heart.'
I always feel this every time I pick up a leaf.
"Neither people nor leaves need to be perfect.
Just as it is, it is beautiful."
Even the leaves with damaged marks,
Even leaves of different colors,
Even the leaves carved away by time,
All of this is a "one-of-a-kind beauty."
While respecting the story of those leaves,
Layering colors that resonate with your heart.
That's why my work is,
Each one is a one-of-a-kind "crystallization of the soul."

The desire to "stand by the heart," which lies at the origin of my art, is also expressed in the form of picture books.

'Sekai ni Hitoichi no Iro' is
This is a story that gently delivers the message that "it's okay to live in your own color."
One Color in the Worldis,
Using real leaves, each leaf is crafted with heartfelt care,
It was born with a one-of-a-kind visual expression in the world.
This work is
For the children, we can feel reassured that 'it's okay to just leave it as is',
For adults, it provides a chance to recall the colors of themselves that they had forgotten.
We also conduct reading aloud during courses and workshops.
Just like art,
I also hope that picture books will be "a quiet light that lights the heart."
